When you start out in business, we set these great big goals. But we want to make sure that we’re building the business really fast because when your business is in that early stage, it’s usually just you.

You’ve got a thousand and one hats on and you’re a little bit vulnerable in relying on you to do all of it. We want to grow our businesses fast, so we have other people around us, helping us. We’re not totally reliant on ourself alone.

Get Good People Around You

Whether, it’s your team, or your suppliers, or your coaches, make sure you gather these people. Be very consciously aware of who you are gathering around you to help you grow your business. Get a coach employed immediately.

Stay Focused on What You Want to Achieve

We get distracted by all these shiny objects and it can sometimes maneuver us off course. We lose focus of what we originally set out to achieve and that becomes blurred and sends us way off track in a direction that we never wanted to be in, don’t want to be in, and don’t like being in. Stay laser focused on why you set up the business and what you wanted to achieve.

You Must Take Action

Do the actionable steps that are leading you towards your goal. We can be really fast on a rocking horse and we can rock all day, but we’re not going anywhere. Make sure that the actions you are taking are getting you to where you need to be; that you’re not just on the rocking horse and pretending to be busy. Make sure your action steps are propelling you forward towards your goals. We can all be busy and not achieving anything, so make sure that the actions are getting you to where you need to be.

It’s Time to Take Action!

I have SMJ Coaching Institute, my massive belief is that, if you are in business, you need a coach. Make sure that you do engage a coach very early on in your business.

It’s never too early.
