If you feel that you not quite out there, you’re not that extrovert, there are three ways of getting noticed without having to be that extrovert.
- Be Honest With Yourself
If you are introvert, and you are trying to be an extrovert, you will do the hard work because you may not keep up the charade, and two, you didn’t come across as being authentic or being your true self.
- Make Sure That You Are Talking to the Right People
Is there a right or wrong? Possibly. But you can be taught. If you’re wanting to talk to people about quitting smoking and everybody in the room is a non-smoker, it doesn’t matter how great a speaker you are, or how great your information or learnings are, they just won’t be interested.
When you are going to talk to an audience, make sure that you have your list of questions. When someone asks you to come and talk for their audiences, make sure that you have your rating system.
- Be Very Consistent
A lot of coaches going out there saying, “I’m a coach, I’m amazing.” They tell people once or twice, and then you don’t see or hear from them ever again.
Make sure that if you want people to know that you’re an amazing coach, make sure you are very consistent, you show up every time, and that people get to know where they can find you.
Even if they don’t want to do business with you right now, when they do, and things change for them, they will know where to find you. You’ll pop up for them in their social media, or in their email inbox, and they’ll know exactly how to contact you.
If you want to get noticed, do these three things:
- One, be honest that you’re not an extrovert and really embrace being an introvert.
- Two, make sure you are talking to the right people, and make sure you are getting in front of the right audiences, letting them know that you are a coach, and this is how you help people.
- Thirdly, be consistent. Show up every time so people know where to find you.
