I have been involved in farming most of my life, for almost 50 years I have worked beside my husband and children at Somerton and in the western districts of NSW.

We have been involved in various partnerships along the way, growing our business in good and challenging seasons. I have had the responsibility of all the office work and giving support when it was needed outside.

I have five children and twelve grandchildren. Two of my children and their partners are involved in a farming operation connected to my husband and me.

I have experienced challenges during my life – supporting ill parents, my disabled brother and losing my son. These challenges took a toll on my wellbeing and with the help of amazing mentor coaches, I have learned the importance of keeping myself healthy and well. It has been a pleasure to have the skills and confidence to help other members of my family when they needed help and I am now helping the wider community, especially the farming families.
