Do you have a guarantee for your business, product, or service? A lot of times, you have a very soft guarantee, like, “If you don’t like it, you can get a refund,” or, “If I haven’t done a great job, I’ll do better next time,” or “I’ll keep helping you until you get the results.” This is wishy-washy. Try to consider building a strong guarantee in your business.

First, make it massive. Make the guarantee so big that it’s undeniable to your clients. For example, HydroKleen has a nine-point guarantee, and nobody else in the industry comes close to that. Make sure that in your guarantee, there is a serious consequence. It shouldn’t be, “If I don’t do a good job, I’ll come back and do a better one.” That can make people skeptical.

For example, in HydroKleen‘s guarantee, we clean air conditioners, and we state that if we don’t clean your air conditioner cleaner than you’ve ever seen it before, you will not only not pay, but we will pay for a competitor of your choice to come and clean it. That’s massive. It allows the clients to feel very safe and comfortable engaging you for their needs. Ensure your guarantee is measurable and detailed. Measure it by outcomes; it may not even be dollar figures, but find a measurable detail.

Just like we did with HydroKleen’s nine points, determine what you can guarantee and build out a massive guarantee for your business.
